“Just ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

We used to go to Scotto's more often than we do now - and that pretty much says it all. We can "take it or leave it." The food is ok but not, "oh, I'm in the mood for Scotto's tonight." The staff is friendly and the atmosphere clean and welcoming. We often order take out, but have eaten there with no complaints.

“Sadly Mistaken”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

Normally I would never stray from Broadlands Brick Oven when it comes to pizza, calzones, and stromboli, but I decided to give another local spot a try based on a neighbor's recommendation. What a mistake!

We ordered two large pizzas, totaling about $32 (meat lovers and bianca). Needless to say, the cheese was practically non existent and the pizza flavor was bland overall. It was almost as if the pizza had been sitting in the box for hours, which was not the case. The pizzas were very thin with minimal toppings. I'd expect that from Dominos or Little Caesars, but not from a local Italian restaurant boasting "the real tast of Italy". I would have had a better pizza from Dominos for a third of the price.

Sad to say, especially about a local small business, extremely disappointed and will not be returning. In all fairness, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

“Great Quality And Taste”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

I always order the calamari and the Greek salad. Their Calzones are great, as well as their pepperoni rolls. I love calamari, and this place is one of the best. The marinara sauce is SO good!

“Enjoyable meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

Went to lunch there today. First, it's a little hard to find in the strip mall, because management allows the trees to grow up and wide and obscure the signs. Place was mostly full, food was good and price was reasonable. My niece had the pepperoni roll. She ate most of it, although she thought it was a little oily. It came with a thinner tomato sauce than i was expecting, something you would find on a pizza rather than marinara sauce. I had a generous portion of the fettuccine carbonara. was rich and saucy and the bacon was plentiful. i really enjoyed it. We ordered the chocolate cannoli for dessert, but when we went up to the counter to get it, they were suddenly out of it. we got the tiramisu. I don' t think they make it there. the dessert was a little strong in the coffee flavor, but very light and fluffy. If I may make 2 suggestions: replace one of the flavored ice teas with good old sweet tea. Also, please tune at least one of the tvs to a station that broadcasts in English.
