You will like this food. Offering a great selection of chicken, pork, beef, and sausage, there is something for everyone. Good sides too, like beans and mac n cheese, plus a hearty corn bread. Meats are nicely smoked and not overdosed with sauce, so you can fix it up with one of self-service sauces just the way you like it. Fries are tasty too, very close to those numbered burger guys quality. More tables than most BBQ joints and very clean plus good classic rock music in the background. And they have sweet tea - true to a good 'Q' joint - sweet enough you may want to temper it with some of the unsweetened peach tea for a nice blend. My wife (BBQ is *not* her favorite food group) even liked the steak (brisket) salad. You order at the counter and pick up your food when they yell out your name, so consider that you may not be the only person with your name in the place and keep an eye out for your food - or give them your Facebook alias...

Urban BBQ is one of the best local chains in the DC area. They offer pork, chicken and beef BBQ along with four different sauces. They offer the usual sides -- cole slaw and potato salad, along with more "southern" sides -- mac and cheese and greens. In addition to soft drinks, they offer beer, wine, special root beer and some really good peach iced tea. The atmosphere is great, with multiple TVs for game watching and a decor that feels like Texas, but pays homage to local teams/schools. The counter staff is super friendly and recognizes repeat customers.

I have written a very bad review for the most popular BBQ place in Ashburn but in my book this is some real good Q. I have enjoyed the ribs and side. The wife likes their brisket. Have also tried their Frito Pie and chili, both are excellent. This review makes me hungry so I am going to take my own suggestion and head that way right now, YUM.

It looked nice and everyone was pleasant but the pulled pork just did not taste very good. It was greasy. Everything was greasy, the buns were greasy and the fries were greasy and it was impossible to eat the sandwich without everything falling apart. I'm not sure what to make of the prices since I couldn't get past the food.

I wouldn't write them off completely though, it's a new business and a few folks in my office actually recommended them so perhaps my experience was an anomaly. I just don't need a grease soaked bun falling apart on me at lunch.
