Went there expecting the traditionally flavorfull dishes... left very disappointed.
The salsa was watery and basically a bowl of puplped tomatoes with a couple of pieces of what resembled onions and garnished with a stray piece of cilantro here and there. The corn chips, oily. Very bad!
Onto the main dish it was so we ordered the ""Pollo Asado" as we've done numerous times over the past years. Unremarkable!
Ladies & gentlemen,... "Flavor Has Left The Building!" What used to be one of their most flavorful dishes, arrived "flat" and tasteless. Had to add salt, pepper and hot sauce to bring something to the dish. Ended up leaving over half of it on the plate.
Mexican Cantina dishes are supposed to be bursting with flavor. Unfortunately, no fireworks here!
Some may say, "Perhaps the restaurant was having an off night!" Then they should have turned their registers off as well and not charge for what they served!
We used to be regulars at this establishment. It looks like we'll be looking for a new one!
