Fun park with lots of equipment along the Walking trail. Surrounded by trees, but bring bug spray for humid days and evenings. The kids love it.

- full service concession stand (hot dogs, etc)
- GREAT playground in the woods between the sports fields and the W&OD trail. It has a large mulched area with several jungle gyms for kids of different ages. There are swingsets too.
Only drawback: Ticks. It's in the woods, and you must be on the lookout for ticks (Loudoun County is a Lyme Disease hot zone).
Ashbirn is becoming a bedroom community littered with shopping plazas and very few parks. The residents of the county seem to pass every bill for schools but will vote down parks and R&R. This is an OK park. The area needs more. Not worth a trip
Park is convenient with many kid things to climb,swing on and play on. Usually not crowed during the weekdays.
This is a fun park for the young kids. Some parts are shaded but most is in the sun. Lots of swings and a lot of fun stuff to climb on. Secluded and far from a busy road so it is super safe to let the kids run.
