“Nice, Clean hotel with shuttle service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

Professional service, clean rooms, and friendly shuttle staff. Ease in accessing public transit from the mall location that the shuttle service will take you to. The rooms are clean and relatively quiet. Tip-- if you plan on sleeping in, ask to stay in a room away from the on-ramp construction going on outside, but it isn't too bad even if one is unavailable.

Reception guys and girls were friendly and helpful (Thank you Sura, Thank you Gerard). Shuttle bus guys were nice. Nothing for kids to enjoy. Breakfast wasn't great, but staff were polite. Carpet at the room needed cleaning. Room service forgot to clean and change towels one day and did not consider the number of people in the room when they served towels, soap, and shampoo. TV in the reception was hanged high so there was no TV room, As in general it was fair compared to Stars and Price.

Shuttle to Metro is good. Comfy bed. Staff very helpful. They make sure you are happy with everything. The food was excellent for dinner. Size price and quality. Good spot for travel to sights and Washington, D.C. Loved the city!! Need a week to do all. We tried to see the main things. It's a 20 min walk from Arlington station to Lincoln Memorial and 10 to Arlington Cemetry

Hosted a family reunion there with more than 100 people in attendance. The accomodations were exceptional for a price that was more than reasonable. What is more impressive was the management there--a world class bunch with Ritz Carlton professionalism and character. Their desire to make this reunion the best that we have held in 30 years was recognized by 100 members of the Kenan-Sharpless Clan. Comments such as, " this will be hard to beat, " "lets bring it back here", were heard throughout the clan. The hospitality night affair, the dinner, and the tours could not have gone off with out a hitch because of people like Rosario, Sura, the members in the hotel restaurant and bar, and the leadership of the onsite manager and Ms. Chala Gay. If you want world class service in a world class atmosphere with reasonable cost attached to it, I give my salute to a team of professionals who know how to get the job done--a wonderful experience, a great choice in hotel accomodations, and one the Kenan-Sharpless Clan won't forget.

Room Tip: All rooms from south side to the corner offer you comfort. See Sura.

As a business traveler I struggle with Sheraton. I bit more expensive on average - definitely clean, beds are always super comfy. No Internet... Really? U can get free wifi at the cheapest competitors... The location's convenience was a factor, but the primary reason I would stay here again was because of Ravi at the bar. I ate my dinner there every night this week. Ravi gave excellent recommendations and made me feel at home. His commitment to service is hard to find. Decent hotel, excellent staff with Ravi.

We were welcomed nicely by the front desk. Our room (using SPG points) was larger than expected with a super view toward Washington which was a little further away than we had expected for walking there (which we did once, taking us a little less than an hour to reach the Lincoln memorial). Kids loved the (medium size) pool which I was suprised had a life guard on duty. The Club lounge had good food and drink for breakfast and dinner and friendly staff, just a little disappointed in its shorter opening hours than some other Sheraton clubs. The staff in the restaurant and lounge were also friendly and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast for two days and appetizers one evening (tasty but a bit expensive). We used the shuttle service to the metro once and thought that the cost of the metro wasn't really worth it as visitors. A mini-van cab back from the mall area one day cost us (~$17) about the same or less than the metro for our family.

Green Features: Opting out of the room service (and new towels, etc.) for a day gets you a $5 voucher for using in the restaurant/lounge.

This is a nice hotel in a somewhat weird location. What stands out about this hotel is the front desk. We statyed here on our way back from NYC, arriving fairly late in the evening. Gerrard (sp?) was nice enough to upgrade us when it was discovered that their regular rooms have 2 double beds instead of 2 queens. T
Check out the pool on the top floor. Great views from it, and from the room (ask for a city view, if they have one avail).

Room Tip: get a city view
