I usually stay at mid-range hotels like Marriot and was actually looking forward to staying at this higher end property. Even though there were nice things about staying here, most of the time I was annoyed with all the extra costs. For example, they were going to charge $16 a night to park (on top of the $259 a night rate). There are no other parking options other than the hotel garage, so why are they charging paying customers? I ended up getting it complimentary after complaining; also it was a lovely surprise to find the elevator to\from the garage is broken. Using internet in your room wired or wireless is $9.99 plus tax every 24 hrs, breakfast $12.95, they can bring a fridge to your room for $20. On the positive side they have an great fitness room, Life Fitness cardio equipment with TV’s built in them, full dumbbell set, and a few weight machines, Starbucks coffee in the room, spacious dressing\make-up area, robes, comfortable beds, pillows and down comforters, great location to the Ft Myer base, Pentagon, as well as terrific views of the city. Although a nice detour, I think I will go back to my mid range hotel chain with out all the expensive “extra’s”.

Went to Arlington for just one night and booked the Sheraton. I booked a special rate that included parking and made a couple special requests (high floor and a view).
Check-in could have been better. The hotel didn't see the parking included or didn't know it should be with the rate code. I asked them to call the national booking company which they immediately agreed to do but a manager overheard the conversation and waved the parking without the need to finish the call. (parking would have been $16). After this small bump everything else was perfect.

They gave me a room on a Starwoods Preferred Guest floor, high up in the tower, and it had a view of Arlington Cemetery, Washington Monument, and I could also see the tops of the capital building and multiple monuments.

The room was clean and there was some bottled water available (no $5 charge like some hotels I've stayed at). The bed was comfortable. In the morning I had a bill with everything correct on it under my door and two papers waiting outside my door.

I would recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again next time I head to Arlington or DC.

Stayed at this property for new years, where they hosted a crazy party one 2 floors of the hotel. We had a suite which was huge and wonderful, very clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was recuperating the next morning so I won't knock it for not being completely cleaned up. Overall it was a really nice place. It was near the Pentagon and the Air Force Memorial, but beyond that its outside the city so not sure if its that great of a location for tourists.

Room service is only from early morning (like 5) to "late night" which is midnight. For us this wasn't an issue but if you're a late night eater, you'll be disappointed, as there isn't anything close by either.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and did a great job for such a hectic holiday.

“Beautiful hotel!”

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are really big, the bed is comfortable and has a very grand feel. The hotel provides free shuttles to the airport and I definitely took advantage of it. The shuttle also took me to the closest metro stop one morning (which is Pentagon City).

The location is not easily accessible unless you have a car but do take advantage of the free shuttle. Otherwise, great and beautiful hotel!

My family stayed here 2 nights for a burial at (adjoining) Arlington Cemetery. Good service, nice rooms, a little pricey, but cleaned early each morning. We got some sandwiches delivered to one of our suites for a "wake" after the service. Everything was ready and waiting, even thought we returned to the hotel a little earlier than we had scheduled. Parking was $16 a day, but it seemed that they stopped checking/collecting after normal business hours. We had friends come and visit in the evening who were able to drive in and out of the parking garage without having to pay.

Restaurant was above average, but nothing special.
