Just back from a three night stay at this Ritz. My husband and I were very pleased with the service, and the location cannot be beat. All Ritz employees that we encountered were helpful and courteous, holding doors, wishing you a good day, etc. We used valet parking and our car was ready within minutes of our request when we were checking out. Our television had a bad line where the picture was breaking up, and a service person was there within minutes to assess the problem. We went out to meet a friend for drinks in the lobby bar, and when we returned, the tv had been replaced. In addition, they sent up a refrigerator for us. Each day our room was serviced and the bed was turned down with chocolates on the side table. We used the business center to check our email and we were always able to get access to a computer without waiting. Our first night we had room service that came promptly and was very tasty. We set out our cart and it was removed from the hallway within half an hour. We used the Metro to get around and the station through the mall was easy to navigate and very convenient. This is a convenient location with great service. We will definitely check this hotel first the next time we are visiting friends in Washington DC.
