“Renovated and very nice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2012 via mobile

I reviewed this hotel two years ago. It is now totally renovated and beautiful. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The shower and bathroom were clean and great. The Metro is just a short walk. If you fly into Dulles the Metrobus drops you just a block away for $6 per person. If you fly into Reagan just take the Metro to Rosslyn station. It is an easy walk to Georgetown which has many shops and restaurants. Best of All, we scored a rate of $109 per night! This is a great place to stay that is on the Metro and you will not pay the high DC prices

A one night business event has turned my stay into a close to home weekend getaway. This Marriott has a lot to offer the DMV (DC/MD/VA) traveller. I'm not sure how many restaurants are in this place but I can tell you that the room service will not disappoint. The food was awesome and I have had plenty of hotel cut and paste hotel food. I was so shocked at the quality that I dialed room service again just to offer my compliment. The check was fast and efficient, it may have only taken me two minutes to receive my key and be on my way. The staff was very friendly and greeted me by name. The room was clean and tidy - good bed. Overall I would recommend staying here if you are in the area and looking for good value. Very close to metro and other restaurants.

Key Bridge Marriott is an older Hotel, but well maintained and updated. The rooms were large and clean. Large flat screen TV's. The beds were comfortable. The restrooms were large and clean. There is not free wi-fi in the rooms, but there is in the Lobby. I would get a nice cup of coffee(starbucks) in the giftshop and go to the lobby with my cpu in the mornings. The Hotel location is great. Short walk to the Rosslyn Metro and a short walk to Georgetown. Lots of great dining and shopping in Georgetown. DC Cupcakes is awesome, but be prepared for a long line. The Hotel staff was always very friendly and helpful. Excellent concierge also. This was my second stay in this Hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Pros: The lobby and hotel staff were nice. The hotel was a short walk to the metro. It was easy to get a cab from the hotel. Cons: The bathroom was small and the shower was gross; peeling paint from the ceiling fell on me during my shower. I ordered breakfast downstairs for takeout and a substantial gratuity was tacked on to my bill (I forget the exact figure but at least 15% gratuity). Our room faced a central courtyard area which blocked direct sunlight to the room making it rather dark inside.

This hotel is conveniently located to points in Arlington, with easy access to routes into Washigton DC (just minutes away). The room was clean and reasonably updated (carpet, walls, decor, tv...the bathroom was clean but a little more dated), and reasonably spacious for a city hotel. No mini-bar, but there was a mini-fridge, which in many ways is more helpful. The Connexion Lounge had a reasonably-priced menu and a nice atmosphere with plently of room to find a quiet spot for entertaining. Most notably, the service was really excellent...every single employee I had contact with was cheerful and went out of their way to be helpful. Excellent management. On-site parking is $19/day, but is very convenient and includes in-out priveleges. Only downside to my visit was a small fitness center with only a few machines. For the price I paid (an excellent on-line rate), this hotel was a real value.

It's pretty close to the metro and across the bridge from Georgetown. The beds are comfortable and it has a nice bar area and coffee place for breakfast. My only complaint is that the showers are small and it doesn't have the shower rod extender that I've gotten used to while traveling.

Overall, this is where I like to stay while traveling to DC for work (my business is in Arlington).

We had a last minutes change to Channel 70 Productions shooting schedule and location and I had to get copies made, phone calls made, and, emails sent. The business center got me someone to assist in short order. My room had a terrific view toward DC. Room service was acceptable. Be warned, traffic in the area is horrific.

Room Tip: Request a view toward the east or northeast
