“Average business hotel - consistent, clean and modern”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

If you need to be in Rosslyn, this isn't a bad place to have to stay. Arguably, the Le Meridien is a bit swankier and the Marriott Key Bridge has a nicer view, but the Hyatt Arlington is well equipped, has been recently redone so is very modern and has all the key aspects a business hotel should have: a gym, bar, restaurant, conference rooms, wifi, etc. The front desk service was mediocre to poor and of course everything was incredibly expensive. That being said, the hotel is very quiet, the internet is fast (though you have to pay for it), the views are good enough (ask for a room higher up if you want more of a view) and the food is quite good, albeit very expensive.

Room Tip: higher up for a better view

Overall good place to stay. I had no iron in my room when I checked in but had one within about 10 minutes. There was no hair dryer but I didn't request one because I carry my own. Room was clean, bed comfortable, large shower (no tub), good channel lineup, had a coffee pot and fridge, close to a grocery store and a number of restaurants and right across from the Metro station. There is a lounge and a restaurant on the premises and you can get food in the lounge. They charge for internet access. If you are a smoker, there is a terrace off the lounge that you can go out and smoke. It is at the second level so you are up off the street. The only downside to that location is that there is nothing level or flat in that area. If you have problems walking, be advised that the cobblestones are hard to walk on, it is very hilly and there are few level surfaces. Overall, I recommend it.

Room Tip: Join their loyalty program. They seem to notice that and seemed more accommodating. If you are a s...

Hotel is nice, however here's a heads up on the parking at $23 a day and an additional $11 a day for wifi....Not as great a deal as I had thought. Make sure you check ahead of time to save yourself the wallet shock. Lastly, there's a $50 charge on all debit cards that will be removed within 10 business days.

Aavery positive experience at this Hyatt facility starting with check in process and right through the entire stay. I found the online reservation process to be quite easy and all of the reservation details were as confirmed. During check in the bell captain, Francis, make sure to attend to our group right away and promptly deliver our luggage to our room. Overall I found the staff to be quite friendly and helpful providing directions to the local metro and making sure all of our questions were answered. Rooms were comfortable and clean. we took advantage of the convenience of the buffet breakfast At onsite restaurant and found it to be of good value. The waitstaff and omelette chef on duty were attentive and we found this to be of great value.

I had a fabulous stay at the Hyatt Arlington! First of all the staff is great -- the doormen are welcoming and present, the check-in was efficient, and three times I requested toiletries, they were brought up within 5 minutes. The room service was also fast and fresh.

The room was comfortable -- spacious and clean. The view was OUTSTANDING!! A full floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall window looks out onto the glistening Potomac river and a pine-green Georgetown boathouse. You can see the beautiful brick Georgetown facade, and sitting on top of it all, there is a straight shot of the iconic National Cathedral. The view during sunset is better than any tourist attraction you could find.

There was complimentary nuts and beer in the suite when I arrived, making me feel welcome and at home. I also got in late one night, and ordered seamless -- there were a variety of options, even late night.

The rooms were quiet -- I didn't hear a peep from the hallway or rooms next door, even though the hotel was busy.

Starbucks in the lobby. Cabs right outside. The Metro is literally across the street. What else do I need?

Thank you Hyatt Arlington! You made my trip to DC and I will surely be back! Highly Recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Cathedral!!

Spacious rooms, impeccable hygiene, reassuring and kind staff, great location (close to a supermarket and the Rosslyn Metro station is across the street). It has a huge bed, good shower, coffee maker, refrigerator, television, desk, hair dryer, iron, ipod dock.
