“Nice employees, clean rooms.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2011 via mobile

We stayed there 3 nights. We found the employees to be very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and the the bed was really comfortable. Room service was also pretty tasty. We got a room for $80 a night, which we thought was a steal.

We recently stayed at Hyatt Arlington during a 4 night trip to Washington D.C. The location of this hotel is perfect. It's located right at the Rosslyn stop for the Metro, the last stop before you enter Washington, D.C. We used the Metro to go just about everywhere, and it was very efficient. The room was clean, and the bathroom nice, maybe both were a little small, but that's not surprising for D.C. There is no free WIFI in the room, but you can go to the public areas of the hotel and use free WIFI, which is more than you can usually ask for. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and willing to help. The Rosslyn area also had restaurants and was a nice area as well. We had a flawless stay and I will definitely look to the Hyatt Arlington the next time I'm in D.C.

IWhile on a 10 day vacation to Washington DC, we have stayed at the most wonderfull plac3. The staff is very friendly and always had time to answer questions. Metro line is about ablock away which makes it very convenient. Buffet breakfast is fresh with a variety of choices. Nice bar in the evenings so relax. Would highly recommend!

I had not been to this Hyatt for several years. Loved it. The staff was wonderful particularly, Robert and Atifa, who offered suggestions for neighborhood places to eat. The room was clean, comfortable, and I loved the cozy chair next to the window. I also appreciated the convenience of this hotel to the Metro stop (blue and orange lines). Was here for a meeting and appreciated the breakfasts, lunches and break food provided. Thank you Hyatt for a great experience. Mainon5

The staff here was fabulous! So friendly, nice, and helpful - they are the best part of this hotel. Beyond the staff, this Hyatt is not the Hyatt standard I'm used to. When we made the reservation, we noticed that we could pay an additional amount a night and enjoy a "premium" view of DC, which is one reason we chose this hotel. When we arrived there was no premium view (nor could there have been one with the high rises around it) and we were told there was no such option available. Our room (#602) was clean and had modern furnishings. The room was smaller than other Hyatt's, but not surprising in a big city. The beds were comfortable. The HVAC unit stopped working one evening, it was repaired by the time we got back from dinner. Although the temperature was difficult to regulate and the unit was right next to one of the beds, so there was a constant humming all night long.

The bathroom was nice in appearance and clean. However the bathtub was plastic - when you stepped in it it made noise and seemed more like a $20 tub liner. The faucet in the tub was pulling away from the wall so if you pulled to much to turn the shower on you risked pulling the faucet off. The toilet was broken so the water would drain and refill all night/day. Water also leaked from the handles on the sink.

The location was OK - it's less than a block from a metro stop. However, restaurants are far between and require a good walk or a metro/taxi ride. All in all, it was a decent night's sleep. The staff AMAZING. If you're looking for a nicer hotel with a good price, I would recommend.

We booked the rooms from Norway without knowing of this hotel. As all our baggage were missing, we felt a bit lost. But no problem with the wonderful staff. They helped us finding places to shop what we needed, always smiling. Waiting for our luggage we extended our stay with two nights with two nights. The Bellmen were so kind and the staff asked us how everything was every time we passed. We left going by car through Virginia Civil War sites to Kissimee, FL and back to DC. We booked again at Hyatt Arlington. When we arrived, we felt like coming home to our family. Just great.
