The rooms are big and clean. Breakfast was good. Check in staff needs to communicate better. We did not request a room with a fridge/micro, but they gave it to us on a promo rate, then wanted us to move, they did ok it afterall.

Good Service. Pleasant Breakfast. Large Rooms and a good price. There is easy regular access to the Metro by hotel bus - it took 30 mins from the hotel to the big convention centre in town. There's nothing in walking distance so metro access is key. It's a good way to visit Washington without paying city centre prices plus excellent free wifi for Skype and work and if you need it they had a good desk to work on. Its improved recently and they have done up the rooms. It's not a boutique hotel or romantic getaway but its a good cheap deal nonethless.

We stayed in room 206, this room was not very clean. Things in the room were falling apart due to lack of maintenance. wall paper was coming off.The ceiling was falling in some places of the room. the bathroom was in poor shape and the room had a very bad smell. Service was good. Thank goodness we had a free night stay and did not have to pay for this room!!!

On the minus side: This place is shabby and there is nothing within walking distance. On the premises is an overpriced "gift store" where a bottle of water will cost you plenty!

On the plus side: It is cheap! There is a restaurant at the Comfort Inn right next door which offers OK food. There is a shuttle tevery half hour o the nearest Metro station, but if you miss the last shuttle in the evening you have to take a taxi back to the Best Western. It is close to Reagan Airport and again, there is a free shuttle but you need to time your trip to the airport carefully. If you miss a shuttle there might not be another one for a hour.
