“Close to Rosslyn Metro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

This hotel is right in front of the Rosslyn Metro station which provides great value to any traveler.
The lobby is located on the 4th floor and the hotel rooms are from floor 4-12th.

The rest of the building are apartments.

The room is really nice and there are several places to eat crossing the street (Quiznos, McDonalds, Cosi, etc).

I spent a few nights at the Le Meridien in June. The hotel is located in Rosslyn, about a 5 minute walk from the Rosslyn metro stop. Taxis into DC were reasonable and we had no trouble getting taxis back to the hotel. The walk over the Key Bridge into Georgetown took about 10 minutes and was very convenient for early morning runs/walk and breakfast.

The room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable and we had a great view of the water and Georgetown on the 9th floor. The amenities in the bathroom were sparse, shower gel, shampoo and conditioners were in refillable containers in the shower. There's happy hour of wine and beer in the lobby in the evenings which was a nice touch.

We had lunch at the Amuse restaurant, the prices were reasonable and the food was good. Options around the hotel include Cosi, McDonalds, Starbucks, Chop it and a few other similar options. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The lobby is located on the 4th floor and the building also has private residences. I would stay here again if I needed a hotel in the area.

I just stayed at Le Meridien for 4 nights in the beginning of June, while traveling for business. This is a beautiful hotel - clean and elegant. It has a pleasant spa-like aroma so you instantly feel calmed upon entering it. It's centrally located to Georgetown, the Metro, businesses, food trucks for weekday lunch, bike trails, etc. There's a 24-hour gym, which I should have used more. I only experienced the restaurant, Amuse, in the morning for a light and healthy continental breakfast. In the evening, from 5-6pm, they offer a wine hour that is nice for networking. The staff was incredibly helpful and responsive, particularly Acey and Mohammed, who offered stellar customer service. The next time I'm in DC/VA for business, I will return!

The Le Meridien, now a Starwood hotel, was the Palomar last year when we stayed there. However, the hotel still seems to be the same great place to stay in the Arlington/Georgetown area.
Our favorite feature of this hotel is its location, which is super convenient, and the hotel is relatively inexpensive for a long weekend trip to the DC area. Here are the particulars:
1) The Rosslyn Metro station is about one and one-half blocks away. And believe me, the Metro is the only way you should be thinking about local travel in the DC area.
2) Valet parking is available, but you can self park in the hotel's well-lighted connected parking garage. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, and left early Monday morning, and the self-parking bill was $34. Again, great for clean, indoor parking in the DC area.
3) The hotel is not too far from Reagan National Airport, but the aircraft noise was never obtrusive. The rooms are very quiet.
4) We had a room with two queen beds. Very spacious for a non-suite room. The room was exceptionally clean, and the maid service was very efficient during our stay of three nights there.
5) We did not use the hotel restaurant, but there is one. Several fast-food places are available within a two-minute walking distance from the hotel, including Cosi, McDonalds and Chipolte (Mexican fast food). More upscale (and more expensive) dining is available in Georgetown, a fifteen minute walk across the Key Bridge.
There really aren't any downsides to this hotel. We love it, and we will stay there again when we are in the DC area.

I stay here on a weekly basis while traveling for work and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the DC or Northern VA area. The hotel is in a great location (metro accessible, walkable to Georgetown), has awesome views and a very friendly/accommodating staff.

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of June and had a wonderful experience. We had just driven in from New York city. About an hour prior to getting to Arlington, VA, we encountered a terrible tropical storm, which was not predicted. It was scary to say the least!
However, checking into Le Meridien on that rainy day made it all better. Thanks to Kristen and Dante at the front desk, who upgraded us to a beautiful suite at no additional cost.

The hotel is gorgeous. It's in the perfect location, just across the bridge from DC and within walking distance to the Marine Corps Memorial Iwo Jima. The service was excellent, the entire staff-the front desk, the bell men, the valet staff, housekeeping and room service was incredibly warm and pleasant at all times. It's also a pet friendly hotel! Chelsea and Tess(our cocker spaniels) were in heaven too;)

The suite was on the12th floor overlooking Georgetown-gorgeous view! This will be our hotel when in Arlington, VA/DC.

Thank you Le Meridien for your wonderful service. Kristen and Dante, you rock!
