“Smiling faces on a cold day help the dining experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013 via mobile

From the time we entered the door there were smiling faces from the staff which helps on a cold dreary afternoon. Steve, our waiter, was knowledgable about the menu and helped us with our selection. We ordered the fish stew and salmon luncheon specials. The stew was a medley of clams, oysters and fish and was seasoned well. The salmon was on a bed jasmine rice topped with soft butter and was tasty. We were in and out in under an hour which helps when you are on limited street parking. The restaurant was a good meeting place for lunch and the dining experience enjoyable.

“Nothing Special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

The place is small. I went on a Friday night and the place was packed so make sure you have a reservation like I did. They got me right in which I appreciate. The food wasn't bad, but wasn't anything to write home about. The manager was making the rounds and the staff had it together. It is expensive though for the average food you receive. It is the DC Metro area though so plan on about $40 a person minimum.

“they cram you into tiny places”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

the restaurant is too small for all of the table they cram together. the food was average. Everything tasted over salted. I am tired of restautants - especially chains, over salting everything. The waiter was flakey and fairly slow. while i like my broiled fish combo, it was too salty. My friend had stuffed shrimp and said it was ok. The brown rice tasted instant and blah.

“Great Meal....for the Fourth Time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

We visit this area regularly and always make time for Legal Sea Food. Very clean - a standard for Legal - and the food was fantastic. Service was very good and friendly. If you are in the area, make time for this one. You won't be sorry!

“Good Chain”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

The quality and portions were great. Perhaps a little over-priced, but great food. Great location in Cyrstal City, close to National Airport, hotels, and business.
