This place is a star in a neighborhood that is already blessed with many other ethnic restaurants. "Kabob" doesn't begin to cover the appeal. Susan, the owner/chef, and her family make stews, sandwiches, wraps, soups, fish platters. Fantastic naan, baked to order in the tandoor. Complimentary cardamom tea. Items seemingly prosaic, like chickpeas, are toothsome and rich with legume-y goodness. Homemade baklava and rice pudding. Hummus.
We usually eat in, but they deliver. A lot of people seem to call in their orders and shlep them home or back to the office.
