Good food – empanadas, plantains. Great drink specials, I especially like the Guava martini. Great place to dance on a Friday night and smoke hookah. Used to have a live band that was amazing – not sure if that is still the case because I haven’t seen them.

We found this restaurant in Arlington totally by accident. it was at the foot of the hill on our way to the Metro. It is a combination many styles of Central American cooking with many interesting "native" dishes. Lots of choices but every entree we had was exceptional. Would highly recommend. They have hookas at Happy Hour. Very dark inside, but the food was worth it!

I first had dinner at Gua-Rapo two years ago and wasn't very impressed. But last week, I went back and had a very good experience. The variety of food listed on the menu is broad and interesting, with dishes from at least half a dozen countries. The Ecuadorian shrimp ceviche appetizer was wonderful and so was the Aji de Gallina, a delicious Peruvian chicken dish. Prices were reasonable.
