“Pleasant surprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

My wife and i stumbled across this place in an advertisement so decided to give it a try. We were a bit concerned when we arrived at around 7pm on a Friday to find an empty dining room save for one customer having a cocktail while waiting for a take out order. It might be due to the odd parking situation - parking in the are is scarce but there is a lot behind the restuarant that you need a "pass" from them to use - but once that was taken care of we gave it a try.

While the Mai Tai was fairly pricey for basically spiked fruit juice, the food did not disappoint. The Pad Thai was as good as any locally. Just the right amount of kick. The Crispy Chicken with Basil could have used some crispy basil leaves but the flavor was good - again with just a bit of kick.

All in all a pretty decent experience.

“OMW! Those drunken noodles ROCKED!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012 via mobile

Okay so the whole family went , family of 4. The food was very good and we would definitely come back if in the area. The service was good. The atmosphere was very good because we sat outside on the sidewalk and ate at the tables so we got to people watch which is always fun when you're an inner city.

“One of best Thai restaurants in Arlington”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2012 via mobile

I have gone to this restaurant for years. The food is always fantastic, the service is top notch, and their Thai iced tea is to die for. I have never been disappointed. It is a great date night spot or for a group of 4, but given its size, I wouldn't recommend bringing young children.

“Great little place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2012

This restaurant has changed names recently. Used to be "Archa Thai". Don't know what precipitated the name change, but thankfully, the restaurant doesn't seem to have changed much if at all.
Its a small place. Maybe 20 tables. But great location in the Arlington Courthouse area. The food is consistently excellent; well prepared, nicely presented, wonderful taste. I'm not an expert on Thai food, so can't really comment much beyond that. But its a regular for me. I'm in that area several times a year and always have at least one meal here.
The only real drawback is the ambiance of the place. Its not a strong point, but then again, its not that kind of place either. Its a place to drop in, get some good food quick and reasonably priced, and get on with your day.
They also deliver and I've used that service several times too.
My rating is based on how well they're achieving what they're trying to do, and they do it excellently imho.
