This is a beautiful, clean hotel. Our stay was great thanks to the courteous staff that went to extremes to make us comfortable. Located just one block from the Metro in a safe area with several places to eat nearby made it a good choice for a vacatioin. The Vantage Point Resturant had a great breakfast buffet with a great staff. Near the Metro there is a bus for travelling into Georgetown shopping and eating. Nearby is McDonalds, Quiznos, Chopt (salads), Ruby Tuesday and several others nearby. Inside parking was very nice. I would recommend this Hotel for anyone visiting the DC area.

The Holiday Inn at Rossyln has been my home from June-August 2010. I am working in Rosslyn for the summer, and I could not have picked a better place to stay for the summer. The staff is extremely friendly and personable, and I feel welcome every time I enter the hotel. All of the staff at this hotel have made me feel at home, but have also gone out of their way to make sure I am happy and satisfied with my stay. This hotel represents hospitality at its finest. All departments ranging from the front desk staff to the restaurant on the 17th floor have been more than accommodating my entire stay. I would recommend everyone to experience this hotel AND restaurant. The view from the 17th floor restuarant and bar is incredible, as well as the view from the rooms. One side of the hotel looks right over the Potomac River and city of Georgetown while the other side, which is not as desired but still great in my opinion, is of the city of Arlington with a view of the Washington Monument. During my stay, the hotel continued to make improvements and upgrades to the hotel, including my room. The hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, including free internet access, a new business center, pool, fitness center, restaurants/cafes as well as being located right next to the Rosslyn metro station. Either you can make a ten minute walk into Georgetown, walk into the new and growing city of Arlington, or you can take an easy and quick metro ride to all the sites in Washington DC. It is located in an extremely convenient and safe area, and I will definitely be returning to this hotel whenever I visit the DC area.

I loved this hotel. We're still here and I'm loving it! Great location just minutes away from Washington DC. My room was really clean, with wonderful Potomac river view. I found the staff to be extremely friendly, especially the bartender at the roof top restaurant bar, to be fabulous. Staff was extremely helpful and responsive to our needs, they checked me in at 10AM!! Alot of thanks to Dylan- he was very nice and helpful!
THe parking garage is free!
Would love to visit them again!

We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and its a great location - near the metro and georgetown and has free parking...Overall we were pleased and have stayed here once before.. Breakfast was ok in the top floor restaurant and the pool was great for the kids after the hot days..

The room was older but decent, the only complaints were the dirtwebs hanging from the ceiling -hasnt been cleaned in a while and the tub drain didnt work. Although we enjoyed the pool, there was one lifeguard (younger one) who had an atttitude and it wasnt necessary to paying guests and he was reminded of this. We went to the pool and after walking in, he informed us to sign in (first time we had to do this in a hotel and holiday inn) and then proceeded to give us a lecture that we were wearing the "wrong"shoes - we had sneakers on and we must have sandals. We informed him that we didnt have sandals and tried to take off the sneakers before we got to the pool but he sent us to sign in. He had an attitude and he then began yelling at a kid in the pool. After leaving this hotel we stayed for several days at the HI in Baltimore and no sign in at the pool and no problem walking to the pool - and the lifeguard was very friendly.

We picked up our English friends at Dulles and headed to the Holiday Inn Key Bridge. As a Priority Club member we were given vouchers for the breakfast buffet on the top floor, with a wonderful view. The food was adequate to start your day. We had 2 rooms on the 13th floor (yikes!) and both had great views of the Potomac and the Key Bridge. There is a park below that had music in the evening and other activities the next day (Friday to Saturday 1 night stay). The rooms were comfortable and clean, both had king beds. There was a mini fridge and a safe. The best part in my opinion was parking. A well lit lot attached to the hotel (first come, first served) provided free parking with in-and-out access to our car. It is a little tight, but no complaints. I would stay there again.

Can't say enough about the guys on the top floor waiting on us for breakfast---they should be running the place. They knew about the area, the metro, the tours, the sites. We were given a coupon at the front desk for one to eat breakfast buffet free but the waiters said NO all of you eat free. The view was great the food was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn with my girlfriend as part of of sighseeing trip to the USA earlier this year. Due to the volcanic ash cloud we had less time in Washington than we would have liked but we found the Holiday Inn at Key Bridge to be the perfect base from which to explore the city.
We arrived in Washington from New York via a Greyhound bus and despite my initial concerns about finding a taxi quite late (we arrived at 11.30pm) we were able to find one immediately outside the bus terminal.
The cost of the taxi was about $20, which I thought was a little expensive but after a 4 hour bus journey we were glad to arrive.
Due to our arrival time, check in was hassle-free as there were no other guests in the reception area.
We got to our room on the 9th floor to find a clean and tidy room and a large comfortable bed. The layout was a little strange - there is a sink and a mirror immediate in front of you as you enter with a smallish but well-maintained bathroom to your left. you progress to a large living area with plenty of seating, a large TV and minibar through to the bedroom which has plenty of storage room. Both rooms have balconies and although the views weren't great from either, it was nice to soak up the morning sunshine.
Breakfast was hosted in the top floor restaurant, there was plenty of choice (cereals, bacon, eggs bagels etc) and the staff were courteous and friendly. If you can get a window seat as it makes for some great views of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, the Potomac River and Georgetown. Plane buffs can watch airliners whizz past every few minutes as they begin their final approach to Reagan airport.
Rosslyn doesn't have a massive amount to offer apart from large office buldings and quite a lot of traffic but the Metro is literally a stonesthrow from the hotel connecting you to all the major sights and attractions. Georgetown too is just a short stroll across the Key bridge where there is a pretty wide variety of bars/hotels etc.
All in all this was a pleasant stay in a conveniently-located hotel and I would come again without hesitation.
