“Perfect hotel to stay at in the DC area!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2011

My boyfriend and I stayed here from December 8-10th. We were in a renovated room on the 15th floor- so nice and modern, with a fantastic view. The king sized bed was super comfortable and the linens were nice too! The balcony was great and the perfect outdoor space. The room was also very clean (I'm a germaphobe) and it definitely passed my cleanliness inspection!!!

The free breakfast was delicious and the waiters were very nice and helpful.

The free parking was a nice surprise and the location was fantastic. Being so close to the metro meant we didn't have to use the car once. We were also able to walk to several restaurants. The location was just perfect. We would DEFINITELY stay here again and plan on coming back very soon! Great hotel, great location, and a great price.

I have been there for 2 nights with my fiance. The hotel has only 2 good thinks, location and free parking.
The bedroom and the bathroom are big, but very old. Some furniture are broken.
The floor in our room was dirty, I stayed with shoes all the time.
After the first night the reception call us warning that would cut the water in minutes, but this time the water was cut and 2 men came to our room to fix the plumbing from all floor.
I went to the reception to ask other room and they told us there was several rooms available at the hotel, so I don't understood why the put us in a broken room if there are other rooms available and our reservation was made some months.
Maybe we had a bad experience and isolated, but I would not dare stay in this place again. The region offers many choices of hotels and that surely will be better than this.
I chose this hotel to trust the brand hollyday inn, but I was disappointed.

Room Tip: Ask for a refurbished room, maybe you will get luck.

If you are planning to visit Washington DC and don't want to spend a fortune for both a bed and a parking spot, this is a great place to stay. We heard the hotel is undergoing a renovation but we did not hear any of it. Halls were a little shabby but our room was a good size, nice bathroom, all the normal amenities. Their parking lot is right off the lobby and is complimentary. As advertised, they are a block from the Metro, one stop and you are in Washington, so we did not move the car at all for 2 days. Nice restaurant on the 17th floor overlooks the city. Nice, helpful people at the front desk.

Holiday Inn Rosslyn is an excellent hotel. Close to the downtown DC area, one of the only hotels with free parking. Overlooks Georgetown and walking distance to the Iwo Jima monument. Being a member of the priority club has its perks. Free buffet breakfast everyday. Front desk was extremely accomodating when we asked to add on another night.(they even honored our advanced purchase rate) We stay here every time we go to DC. Undergoing some renovations, but they are not a problem.

We stayed here the weekend of Dec 2nd. The location, price and free parking are what drew me to choose this hotel. We were coming into town to visit D.C. On Saturday and go to FedEx Field to watch our Jets beat up on the Redskins on Sunday!

Upon arrival we met George at the front desk who was very helpful and had a great personality. He showed me where we'd be parking and also enrolled us in their Rewards Program which gave us 20% off of a meal in their restaurant and free breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Since we got in late Friday we decided to try the restaurant in the hotel. The food was average but the view from the top floor is amazing. We were happy with the experience because the prices were very reasonable, we got what we were expecting.

The room was very nice. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great balcony - we had an amazing view of Georgetown from the 16th floor. The bathroom is tiny but there is a second sink and mirror outside of the bathroom which came in handy. Also had free wifi which is always a plus.

As far as the location goes...you can't beat it. We saved a bunch of money by not staying in D.C. The Metro station is a block from the main entrance of the hotel and it was a 10-minute ride to D.C. For anyone interested, the ride to FedEx field was less than 30 minutes.

We have a lot more of D.C. to see and we'll definitely be staying here on our next trip!

I love to stay here, the location is great and the staff is very accommodating. This stay was a little disappointing because of the lack of breakfast buffet. The holiday caused some confusion and this was not communicated properly.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn during the week of Thanksgiving. We had a beautiful view of Georgetown and were only a couple of blocks from the Key Bridge and the metro. This made it so easy to get around. The staff were very friendly, but inconsistent in the information that they provided. The room was very nice and the hotel was quiet. By signing up for their preferred club (free), we were able to receive freshly prepared egg sandwiches with coffee and juice each morning. The hotel provides a fee USA Today each morning and offers a heated pool (no hot tub) and gym. During our stay, the gym was under construction, so we were offered free passes to Gold's Gym, only a few blocks away. We were very close to MANY bars and restaurants and the hotel has a nice, small bar on the top floor with a gorgeous view of the city. It's not the Ritz, but it was a very nice place to stay. The only complaint was the inconsistent information from the staff.
