“Love this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

Ok full honesty, I'm a regular here so may be biased. Screwtop not only has great, reasonably priced wine by the glass or bottle, but they have great food as well. Much of it organic or locally sourced. And the wait staff is just lovely. It's a pleasure to stop in for lunch or dinner or just to grab a bottle of wine and some cheese for a special event. It's a perfect place to gather with friends or bring a date.

“Delicious and lots of deals”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2012

Finally got to check this place out. Went for a bite after a Revolve (spin) class which is right next door. The food was delicious however, being a vegetarian I really only had a few choices. There are a variety of grilled cheeses and I got one that was absolutely amazing. Since coming from sweating, wine wasn't very appealing to me at the time but they had their "Thirsty Thursday" menu and it was $5 off American wine flights which would have made a sampling of three about $11...pretty good deal. They also had a "Wino Wednesday" special advertised which was either $10 or 10% off bottles of wine. The selections of wine and cheese were endless and all looked amazing so I will definitely be going back to check those out. The parking situation is very limited although they do have a garage downstairs with some spaces. A great place to go for a happy hour or just to have some wine with a partner or friends!

“Wine and sunshine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2012 via mobile

Great lunch with a wine sampling. The food is all made to order - so a bit slow - but worth the wait. The gazpacho is amazing - with a kick.

“First class food; atmosphere and service ok”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2012

We came for happy hour. They don't have a sign outside; the racks of beer and wine are the first thing that "greets" you; it was not clear where we at a store or a restaurant. We had to pull information from our waitress; she was not interested in sharing any information about the wine with us. But, once we got seated and the wine and food started coming, it was all fantastic from there. First class products; we'll be back.

“Love this hidden wine bar!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2012

I love this wine bar because the staff are knowledgeable abou the wine and very friendly. I come here with friends or even solo for a glass or two. If you go in every so often the staff will even remember you. There are some great cheeses and there is a small market attached where you can purchase bottles of wine or cheese or other goodies. I love the truffle mac n' cheese (I get the kids portion which comes in a small ramekin) and another small plate and it's just the right amount of food. This is a cute place for a date night and ask for some truffle popcorn while you wait for your drinks! Be careful though if you're out on a Thursday and want to drink another glass because they tend to close pretty early (10 pm?)
