“Touching Memorial”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

Beautifully erected. Knowing the history behind the missing man formation makes this memorial even more poignant. From the Memorial you can see the Pentagon as well as the Washington Monument.

“Changed my opinion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

As a retired USAF officer and having only viewed the memorial from afar while driving by, I honestly didn't care for it preferring something more traditional. After visiting the memorial and walking the grounds and reading the displays, I've changed my view and say "Well Done!" The symbolism of the 3 spires is explained and logical, the view spectacular, and the displays moving and inspiring. Stop by, it's worth the time. The display will only become better and more solemn as the former Navy Annex removal is completed and Arlington Cemetery fills in around the memorial.

“Spectacular view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

Cool, crisp morning visit. Beautiful view of the city. Monument is really interesting. Brochures flying around and laying on the ground. Keep those in the guard house. Allow about 20minutes to visit. It isn't a big complex.

“Striking, simple memorial with DC views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

The memorial can be viewed from afar but it can be difficult to get to by car if you are unfamilair or uncomfortable with the area's highways, but once there, it is a beautiful sculpture to walk around and under. There are great views from the memorial of the Pentagon and Washington, DC. Parking is on site and is open at night. Within the past few months, a large, unused ("temporary" WWII) federal building has been razed. The Arlington National Cemetery will be expanded around the memorial which should make an already wonderful memorial even nicer.

“Like Nothing You'll Ever See”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

This memorial is like nothing you'll ever see. If you visit the 9/11 Memorial, it's just a short way over to this one and well worth the effort. It doesn't take long to visit this quiet and beautiful place that also has some spectacular views. Don't miss this one.
