First obvious reason this hotel is a great choice because of the proximity to the airport.
The lobby is beautiful and they do have parking available at hotel at a price sadly. The room was very clean and adequate but yes i can agree with the other TripAdvisor community that the bathroom are very small. But all of that goes out the window because the customer service here is EXCELLENT. As a manger myself i would be happy to know such a gem by the name of Pam was working my front desk. She is sharp, witty, and is GREAT at CUSTOMER SERVICE. She walks away from desk to SHOW you and not just point. I would stay here just for the customer service.

Room Tip: Ask to be place away from elevators

Normally we stay in the city. But I loved the location. Close to airport and plenty of good places to eat within walking distance. Used Uber to get to union station and it was under $10. Hotel has shuttle for the airport. The rooms were spacious and more importantly, clean. I was a little upset over the pricing. When I first booked it was close to $300 night. Went back a few weeks later and was able to get $169. I don't like rates that vary so much. I suppose they all do it, but that's my biggest gripe.

Well this hotel needs more quality control. The first room I was in the desk lamp didn't work. We where moved to another room. In that room the light fixture in the bathroom was missing. The bathroom was so small that I am not kidding two people can't be in the bathroom at the same time it is that small. The heating and air-conditioning is very noisy. And it is the old fashion type that is on the wall on one side of the room so if you are on the other side the temperature is different. It has no pool. But, I guess at one time they did. The Lobby is very small. The staff was helpful. Food in the Executive lounge was so so. The gym was not very large for the size of the hotel. Very small bar area. They do have shuttle buses to the Ronald Reagan Airport.

Room Tip: I don't think they have a good room available. You have a view of office buildings or a strip ma...

Service meh - I got something for breakfast at their little cafe and it was awful -- the air conditioner was so incredibly loud it would keep me awake all night - room a little dirty esp. The bathroom -- also not that close to the metro - the Marriott which has the same rates is right near the metro.

Well located, about .3 miles to the nearest metro station, near by DCA international airport and diverse corporations. On the downsize, terrible customer service, after a long trip what you expect is to have a warm welcome, but this was not the case, John at the reception was very rude, he didn't say hello, he was with an angry face and tone, as I forgot my HHonors gold number he was not able to help in any way to find the number, etc... It felt just wrong. You can find some minor damages in hotels sometimes, and you know it something that should be address at all times, but what I think it is a priory is to really train people to have a good customer service, I can forget if there is spot on the carpet, if the tv is old, if there is a crack on the selling, etc... But a poor customer service it is truly something hard to forget, and to me it is a reason enough to not recommend a hotel.

I attended a small conference that was at this Hilton. I expected the usual airport hotel with a lot of noise and distractions. I found this Hilton to be very neat, clean, comfortable, and long on service. The conference meals were better than expected. The hotel does not offer a full menu restaurant, but it will be no problem to find something to eat if you need it. I was surprised at the number of nice restaurants in the area. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. I can definitely recommend this hotel is you are in the area.
