“Always a good stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2011

Have stayed here two times previously and once again recently. The staff is always friendly and accomodating, and the service is always consistent. That said, the rooms are starting to look a little worn out. The decor is modern, flatscreen televisions, the usual mini-kitchen with full size refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, coffee maker etc. The bedding is quite comfortable and the layout of the room is quite good, offering some privacy when travelling with others.

Decent fitness center, but for large hotel, suprisingly there is no pool.

Well situated with easy access to subway and major attractions. Downside is a $14 daily parking fee to use underground garage.

We arrived @ noon time. The rooms wouldn't be ready till 3 so we walked to the metro. Headed to the national mall to sight see. Got back to the hotel @ 3:30 and our rooms were all set.

We had two rooms across from each other on the 10th floor( 1005 and 1006). We never heard one door being shut, people walking above us, anyone talking or TVs.
Breakfast had a GREAT selections on both days.

There's a grocery store around the corner and a cvs. We had dinner at Red hot & Blue very enjoyable.

The location is a business area and felt safe walking around.

Our room was quite spacious. It had a separate "living room" with a fully equipped kitchen in case you wanted to cook something yourself. The breakfast was extensive with freshly cooked eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, various cereals including oatmeal, fresh juice, various breads, make it yourself waffles, Enough to get you through a day without lunch. They also offered a free dinner 2 or 3 times a week. Not fantastic but if you don't feel like going out it's a nice option. Also a way to meet people. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My family was in the D.C area to visit Arlington National Cemetery and the National Mall monuments and museums. This hotel is very convenient to Arlington Cemetery and the Rosslyn Metro station so it is perfectly located. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The Queen studio room was clean and spacious, a perfect overnight for our family. Parking is also convenient (self on-site).

I stayed for one night and the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable, no back pain, the bathroom is clean and large. This hotel is in a very good location, walking distance to shopping, restaurant etc.
Had one maintenance problem, no heat, I called and they came in ten minutes and fixed it, very good maintenance staff.
I had their free breakfast and it was excellent.
I will tell all friends about this nice hotel. I will be back.

We stayed at this Residence Inn because of its proximity to Arlington National Cemetary. We had a ceremony to attend so the stay was not for sightseeing. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There was construction at an adjoining property, but it wasn't a problem. We had need of the maintenance staff as our toilet overflowed, but they were to our room in minutes and took care of things very quickly.
The included breakfast is very good, but the dining room gets very crowded and seating becomes a problem. However, there are many places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. My only request is that the front desk have a list of these places since the area is so well zoned that signs aren't visible. We had a rental car but rarely used it. There is a daily parking fee of $14 but you have in and out privelages.

The staff at this hotel deserves high praise as they were friendly and very helpful.

This hotel is located close to the metro system and for those who like to walk, as we do, you can easily walk to Arlington cemetery and across the bridge to the national mall and all the sights around the White House.

The room was very large with a sitting area, working area, small table for eating meals, large bathroom area and very well equipped kitchen.

Breakfast includes more variety than a lot of the complimentary breakfasts provided in most hotels. There is a large, comfortable lounge/breakfast area in the lobby and staff are friendly and very helpful.

The only issue I had was a lack of consistency with the wireless in the room. they did send someone to address the problem but it did not work very often. It worked fine in the lobby.
