“Must see changing of the guards”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

By far one of the most moving experiences in Washington,DC. A truly patriotic "must see" for anyone who has served, has had someone who has served or any real American at heart. This is such a moving and emotional display of American Military Commitment at its best. Seeing older Veterans wheeled up to be closer was quite moving. I agree that groups of young students certainly take away from the reverance of the ceremony. If they do not understand the symbolism, please do not bring them on these field trips. And the people from other countries talking in their languages throughout the ceremony is very intrusive, also. The Arlington Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers and the changing of the Guards along with these guards commitment to their lifestyle while serving there and living there beneath the structure is so amazing to me. What a tribute! Everyone needs to see this!

“Visiting the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

The greatest thing at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is the changing of the guards. These men are so polished and precise in their movements, it is a joy and pleasure to watch them present their routine to the visitors.

I have been here many times and it still raises emotions every time I go or think about it. The dedication and solemnity of the guards and the place is unbelievable.
