“Women in the Military Memorial. Worth including in your DC tour.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

We were there looking for an aunt. There are ways you can look up people which was very helpful so we found her! Nice displays of women in military throughout US history. It's actually easy to find - right at the entrance to Arlington Cemetery.

“A Monument Many People Miss”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

I've been to DC many times and this time I walked down both sides of the mall and had the opportunity to see this memorial. I'm glad I saw it, it's not so large and easy to miss.

“Easily overlooked memorial by Arlington National Cemetery.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

Be sure to stop by this memorial as this is easily overlooked when touring the cemetery. It also appears to be part of the front entrance to the cemetery and I was surprised that it was a stand alone memorial when the tram guide mentioned it during the tour.

PROS: beautiful facade in front of the cemetery.

CONS: easily overlooked.

“The tragedy of war”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

This statue of three female nurses and a wounded soldier from the Vietnam War is very moving. The three nurses symbolize Hope, Faith and Charity.
