“Private Tour with an employee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

This was a private tour with my family member who works there although anyone can go in with proper ID. We were able to go a lot further being escorted to see the Air Force wing of the Pentagon, the Memorial to those who perished at the Pentagon, see the Commander of the USAF and meet and talk to him. The history of our country is so awe inspiring and the people who serve in the military genuinely love their job and country. It's a shame for the "upper Management" who make decisions that affect those who carry out the missions to be doing so behind closed doors and not on the front lines where it matters. I guess with any company you can say the same but the weight on our nation is so much greater. God Bless our Armed Forces and their families for all they sacrifice.

“The tour seemed rushed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

This was my first tour of the Pentagon and I feel like it could have been better. First of all, the tour guides seemed to be in a hurry. They were talking fast and I could barely understand them most of the time. We did not have time to really stop and look at the things they were trying to explain. The only part of the tour that was more relaxed was the 9/11 memorial. Other than that, this was an average visit. The check-in process went smooth. There was a small gift area to visit at the end of the tour.

“Pretty spectacular building”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

It's one of those places that, if you are in DC, you must do the tour since it is such a spectacular building and so historic - and you can say, "Oh, I've been there." Tour is a very speedy walk with no stopping to examine pictures, etc on the walls unfortunately. You will see the inside 9/11 memorial; very moving and can visit the outside one on your own. No photos allowed - not even of the Redbox or Panda Express inside - neither of which is available for public use. Also, unfortunately, you cannot eat in the cafeteria. You won't see anything secret, but it's well worth the tour. Not sure if you need to arrange it strictly through your local member of Congress, which we did.

“9/11 memorial very emotional”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

WE visited DC in April and had a tour at the pentagon. The actual tour was simply a walk through the building. No time to stop and look at all the pictures on the walls, too many tours, too little time. We were rushed through it. However, outside is the memorial for 9-11 and it is a "Must" do. Emotionally it struck me as I walked through the gardens and understood how this memorial was designed. It was a very respectful design showing the age of those killed and whether they were aboard the plane or in the building. We suggest you take the time to visit this.

“I can say that I've been in the Pentagon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

You won't see anything secret, sit in on the situation room, or get to launch an attack, but hey, you get to go inside of the Pentagon! There is a lot of interesting history, the talk is interesting. I even thought that the visitor control center was interesting, watching defense contractors coming to the Pentagon to conduct business. Talk about your military-industrial complex.

Request this tour early, as they will have to approve your visit.
