Dirty, rundown rooms, a questionable clientele, and an elevator that smelled like urine. I was on a business trip with another female colleague in Nov. 2005, and I know I would not have wanted to stay there by myself due to the weird characters hanging around on the walkways and leering in our general direction. Needless to say, I will never stay at a Days Inn again.
The staff was not friendly. I was hung up on after requesting a wake up call, and they messed up the wake up call even though we placed two calls to confirm it. The next morning, the desk clerk shouted at us regarding what time she thought we should be at the airport (2 hours to make it to and through Reagan Nat'l, but we were leaving too early according to her!). The continental breakfast was not bad, but the overall experience was very unpleasant! I've had better experiences at Motel 6!
