I was disapointed in this hotel. It was only a 2 star hotel if even that. It was old, and not very clean, and hard to find.
The elevators were not working for two of the four days we were there, and it was very difficult getting our luggage up three flights of stairs. The ice machines never had enough ice for me to keep my insulin cold, and refridgerators were not avalable. It was a mistake for us to stay here.
Nex time we will spend a few more bucks and stay somewhere nicer.

Ugh...if you want value for your money, don't stay here! Our travel agent booked 9-10 rooms for a school trip, and almost every room had something "ugh-ly" about it. Dirty bedding upon arrival (even though we checked in several hours AFTER normal check-in time), holes in the blankets, disgusting carpeting with other travelers' plastic wrappers still on the floor, ed stained ceilings, peeling paint on the walls...ugh, ugh, ugh! I had to call the front desk and request clean sheets for one student, because hair, dirt and toenails were found as soon as she pulled back the bedding! UGH! Housekeeping did not have any clean pillowcases, so they sent another sheet to wrap the pillows in! I will write to the management of this particular Days Inn as well as the travel company that booked us...two nights stay were two nights too many! The only reason I didn't give this motel a "Worst" review is because the staff seemed very nice - not overly accomodating, but friendly and nice.

We stayed at Day's Inn Alexandria, VA 110 S. Brag Street. We were so pleased with the service that for the remainder of the trip, which was about eleven more days, we always looked for a DAYS INN. If your are planning a trip STAY WITH DAYS INN, you will be glad you did.

My family and I recently stayed at this Days Inn location to spend the night traveling from NJ to Virginia Beach. We were not very pleased with the experience. The hotel seemed nice when we checked out their website but it was far beyond our expectation. We thought it was a fairly nice place to spend the night, considering it was rated 5 sunburst awards (i think it's their highest rating) but this location needs a lot of improvements. The ceiling in the room/bathroom is falling apart, the room was cave-like (lighting's so poor), the toilet got clogged. It's proximity to I-95 may make this location convenient to travelers but being so close to the highway made getting a good night sleep tricky. We've stayed at other Days Inn locations before and this is our first unpleasant experience with this chain.
