“Quick...good food...close to movie theater...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2011

We often go to Noodles & Co before going to the movie. The Regal Theater is right next door, so this makes a great stop for a quick bite before a show. The selection are varied enough to provide for the family (Mac & Cheese as well as spicier, more exotic stuff for the adutls). Obviously, this is a chain, so if you have been to one somewhere else you know what to expect. Service has been quick on all our visits...you should be able to get in and out in time to see the previews.

“Wake up and smell the preservatives.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2011

Never, EVER again will I dine at any of the Noodles & Company locations. That's how bad this experience was.

First I walked in and checked out the menu on the wall behind the cashier. It was confusing, uninventive, and suggestive.?? Seriously, it was suggesting you try this or that in an effort to raise overall sales. The costs were outrageously high for such substandard food as well.

Here's the part where it gets really good: (and by good, I mean appaulingly terrible) The food arrived. The pot stickers looked like the were taken directly from the freezer and deep fried/pan fried. The nasty part was that parts of them were doughy. Another terrible thing is that they were on top of a bed of FROZEN sliced lettuce. Yes, it was frozen. I was enraged!!!! The Pad Thai was the most fake representation of Thai food ever. The noodles were overcooked. The "fresh" vegetables tasted like they had been loaded with copious amounts of preservatives to maintain their fake color. The bean sprouts were slightly limp. And the chicken~oh, the chicken. But was it chicken? Haha, I'd like to hope not because it was the worst excuse for a piece of meat I've ever seen. Half-chopped, dried out, lacking flavor, and lazily thrown on a bed of nasty noodles.

I guess the only thing Noodles & Company have going for them is their preservative-full sauce. They must have thought one day, "Oh, I know how we can sell all of our substandard ingredients and pull it off like it's tasty~~dump uber amounts of sauce on it!" Yes, that must be it.

As far as cleanliness, they don't even know what that word means. And I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but every chair, every table, and every inch of the floor was filthy. Totally and utterly filthy.

So if you're in the Kingstowne area and you feel like throwing your hard earned cash away, Noodles & Company is your choice. However, if you want fairly decent food then I would ANY of the other restaurants in that shopping center. So you're paying a few buck more? But at least you'll eat the food.

“A healthy option for a quick meal”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2010

The food is pretty good and served relatively quickly. It's good for a quick weekday meal. They have Mediterannean and Asian options, but the food is definitely Americanized. The portions are a little on the small side and I'm frequently hungry a couple hours after lunch.

“LOVE IT for a quick weekday meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2010

I am a huge fan of Noodles & Company. It's got the convenience and speed of other similar restaurants but it's food is actually really tasty. It's perfect for weeknights when I don't feel like cooking but also don't want to spend a ton of money on take out.
