This is a VERY good deal for the money. I have stayed here multiple times and have never had a complaint.
We stayed at this hotel only 1 night...the place needs cleaning up...the rugs in all the halls were stained...when we asked the desk attendant to put our milk in a refrigerator for the next morning..they said they couldn't help us...we had just stayed in a different hotel and they were very glad to assist us...
The breakfast was nothing special..and I had to ask the person attending to clean up the spills around the drinks..
I would not stay there again...Also when asked for suggestions where to go for dinner..was told to just drive up the road...when we were at the other hotel the gave us a list of printed names to go to eat.
If this is what Best Western puts behind their name, then all Best Westerns should be boycotted. Who made that mysterious call from our room? It wasn't us, and the manager tried to trick us into paying for it (until we noted that the times and date of the call were on our receipt, and it wasn't made when he said it was). What were those odd stains on the box springs? Why did the room reek of something like mildew? Why was the advertised sauna not operational? Why did we stay there after we saw this place? There's a great Comfort Inn in Lorton. Why didn't we find it sooner?
This hotel is the worst! Not as bad a The Capitol Hilton in DC. But its really bad! When we checked in there was no one at the front desk. We spent like 20 mins finding him! We found him! So our other employs got there before us. They said all the rooms smelled like MOLD! So we all got new rooms. And the breakfast(DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED) we had to go next store to the shereton(its not that name anymore) and we had to eat there! And then we had to stay there the next year, i didnt want to.
But we did. They gave us the wrong room key! It was a key to someone else's room that was trashed, and messy! So DONT and I MEAN DONT EVER STAY HERE! IT IS A REALLY BAD HOTEL! IF YOU WANT TO CALL IT THAT! ILL CALL IT A MOTEL! I DONT LIKE MOTELS. I ONLY SATY IT HOTELS FOR THAT REASON!!!!
The worst hotel I've stayed in for many years, dirty, unfriendly and full of very noisy school kids on spring break. Located on a main highway and with an antiquated aircon system you cannot escape the noise. Don't even get me started on 'complimentary continental breakfast', a 3 day old doughnut and a cup of weak coffee in a basement that was cleaned sometime in 1950 is no advertisement for this chain. We have avoided all Best Westerns since this experience and cringe whenever their name's mentioned!
