“Closed but not forgotten”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013 via mobile

Unfortunately, this gem of a place has been forced to close its doors because the selfish landlord wanted triple the rent. Sorry to see you go!

“Yummy and kind”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

Ordered the spring roll and pad that, food was very good I cleaned both plates completely. The pad thai is a bit lemony, so if you don't like it ask for the lemon on the side, but I didn't mind.

The waiters were very kind, service was quick and efficient. The place was not too noisy, you can enjoy your meal in peace and quiet, and the prices are totally fair.

The dish size of the pad thai was not very large, which is completely fine since it is enough and there's no need to eat till you burst, but if you are a big portion lover you might want to order more.

“Thai Fusion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Wonderful corner resturant right at the bottom of the hill in Olde Towne Alexandria, right in the heart of it all. Great wait staff, and fantastic food at a moderate price. Well worth the visit if you are in the area.

“Good Thai with reasonable price.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013 via mobile

We ordered chicken fried rice, tofu pad Thai and calamari. Fried rice and calamari were excellent. Calamari was really fresh. Pad Thai was not really my favorite taste (bit too much fish source) but it was good.

“Generally good eats”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

One of the issues with Thai food in Southern Alexandria is consistency. In the past I've found To Be Thai to be excellent with occasional lapses in quality (not sure if it's an issue of cooks or something else). That said, given that I live in the area it's my general go to Thai restaurant.
