House of Dynasty, in my opinion, is one of the premier restaurants in Alexandria, VA. From the time you enter the restaurant and are greeted either by the tall Bruce Lee looking fellow or the sweet lady (or both) you are treated like the special gues that you are. Be prepared to make a reservation on major holidays, otherwise, you can usually be seated right away. If you are getting carry-out, be sure to use the door in the rear of the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is not huge, but the tables are situated nicely and the mirrors inside make the restaurant seem larger than it actually is. Start with an appetizer (Wonton soup and veggie springroll are my favorites). Whatever you choose, you must get an appetizer so you can experience the tasty sherbert they serve (to clense your palette). So cute and tasty. Then it's onto the main course, which the waiters serve the first portion (so classy). The waiters are very attentive, from placing napkins in your lap to promptly removing empty plates. It's a wonderful experience...and the food is top notch. The location is close to Fort Belvoir, Springfield Mall and Kingstowne. During the week they offer lunch specials, which include soup, eggroll and your entry...most are approx $10. A bargain for the variety and amount of food. I know you will enjoy it...it's one of my favorite places and I have NEVER had a bad experience.
