“Steak Night a Steal!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Just happened upon this typical Irish pub in Old Town for their steak night. A wonderful filet mignon, potato and veg for $14.95........delicious. Bar downstairs, bar and restaurant upstairs. Good service. Wouldn't recommend venturing upstairs if you plan to drinks a bit (I didn't drink this trip but could see that the stairs could be an issue after a few)

“Good Pub Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

We were looking for a good burger and a beer. Murphy's fit the bill. Friendly service, good food, and the prices were quite reasonable. A typical local tavern.

Had lunch here 4-25-2013. Was very pleased with the atmosphere, service, selection of draft beers and quality of food and service. Will definitely return next time in area.

“Live Music and good Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Get there early (and stay there late), because Murphy’s gets packed by both tourist and locals looking to have a great time. If you can sit upstairs near center stage, so that you can cheer on the band. If sign along with the band and you are loud enough they will buy you all the shots of the cheap whiskey you can handle. If you’re hungry I recommend the fish and chips, and if you’re thirsty I recommend Smithwichs draft.
