“Go Joe!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

First time back in a while but pleasantly surprised to see a good menu selection of food and drink. Filet mignon was good and same goes with crab cakes. Come hungry! Didn't see Joe but Hail to the Skins anyway!

“Very good food and atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

We decided to try this restaurant on a Friday night at 6:00 pm. Although they were quite busy, we were able to be seated quickly and once seated, service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. The menu has a wide selection of appetizers and entrees. The average price for a dinner without drinks is in the $20 to $30 range per person, which seems to be the norm for the area.

“Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

Good food and affordable prices. Very convenient if staying at the embassy suites or the Hilton. Typical sports bar but has lots of variety on the menu. Gets crowded near happy hour with commuters due to the closeness to the metro stop.

“Excellent Filet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

Visiting Alexandria on business and I was pleasantly surprised by Joe Theismann's. The food was excellent, especially the filet mignon (rare and tender). Sides were great, wine by the glass was very good, wait staff did a great job. I reserved a table ahead of time online, and I was seated immediately. Great dining experience.

“Great salads . . . a great spot for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014

We arrived by Amtrak. The RR station, subway station, and Old Town Trolley are all right across the street from the restaurant plus the Embassy Suites, Hilton and Hampton Inn are all within a block. What a great spot to stay and then to have a great restaurant and bar at your feet . .. inside and outside dining . . . we like their Cajun shrimp salad and their steak salad . . . but there are also about 5 other great salads. Ate here twice on this trip. We have always had good food . . good staff . . . salads in the $10 range . . . a winner.
