We stayed for 4 nights in mid March. Hotel was great for our family of 5, with kids aged 8, 12 and 16. King size bed with sofa pull out and we also requested a roll away bed. Room was clean, although a bit older. However there was a full size fridge, oven, and microwave. Not that we needed it, though as the free breakfast was very good and the manager's reception each weeknight provided dinner and drinks for free. The hotel operates a shuttle to the metro which was very well run. It runs every 30 minutes during the day and after you can call for pickup drop off. They actually have a 2 mile radius that they service and will pickup/drop off anyway in this radius. We used it everyday to visit the Washington DC area. Metro was easy to get around on, but a bit pricey for a family of 5 during peak hours. It may have been cheaper to drive into DC and park for the day, but again Washington DC rush hour traffic is a bit of a mess.
One point is that the walls are quite thin in the building and voices can be heard in adjoining rooms. However we were lucky to have quiet neighbors and this was not an issue whatsoever.
Our sink in the bathroom was not draining properly and once we told the front desk, a maintenance worker was at our room within 3 minutes and fixed it. Overall the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again.
