We arrived in Alexandria on a hot day and had missed lunch that afternoon. We walked from our hotel (Lorien) down to RR Pizza and found the place nearly empty at ~ 4PM. It was very nice sitting at the bar sharing a Burratta salad and sausage pizza and some very cold draft micro-brews. It's a thin, Neapolitan pizza cooked in a wood fired oven and has a lovely crust. The bartender, "Boomer", introduced herself and was very friendly & attentive. It was impressive that she would remember you name and use it in conversation.
Tip: I ate here several months ago while in town on business. Discovered that they had 1/2 price bottles of wine on Tuesday nights.
