My husband had a conference across the river and we didn't want to stay in the hotel of the conference so we chose Peake-Fairfax House based on the previous reviews. It is a wonderful house, full of period pieces and art. The breakfast was wonderful: variety of cold cereals, yogurt with fresh berries, hard boiled eggs, variety of breads and croissants, jam, juice and coffee. Our room was on the third floor so it felt quite private. It was conveniently located near the Torpedo Factory, water taxis, restaurants, shops and banks.
