The Hotel is very nice. Upon checking in we were told we had a King room, but we reserved two queens so they quickly reassigned us but when we got to the room it was only half clean, the beds were made but the bathroom wasn't cleaned. We called down and the manager Jeremy sent someone up to move us to a better room and gave us a free movie voucher for the inconvenience. The room was lovely and very clean. The restaurant was wonderful we had two breakfasts and one dinner plus had drinks at the bar. The food was very good and all of our servers were wonderful. We needed directions one morning and the concierge personnel were extremely knowledgeable and even highlighted the printed map for us. This Hotel is closer to Old Town Alexandria than to DC, but if you are planning on doing both, it is a lovely option.

Room Tip: The higher floors offer better views of the city. However, there are some lovely views of the fount...

What a gorgeous property to serve as a base for exploring D.C. Easy shuttle to the Pentagon City stop on the metro line. Spacious, clean rooms, but no microwave. We enjoyed the pool, restaurant, and lobby store immensely. The breakfast buffet was a little speedy, but the regular menu had lots of nice choices. Not a lot of choices of places to eat or shop within walking distance and the a shuttle only runs every half hour so be sure to plan accordingly.

The room was very nice though i really don't like there pod coffee makers. It was nice to have a fridge and the breakfasts were excellent
I read that there was a shuttle to DC but in fact it was a shuttle into the closest subway station. It worked for us but would have preferred to have been closer. There really wasn't anything nearby to walk to either. The shuttle's were quite reliable but not the one that went into the old town of Alexandria. We had a n issue with that. The hotel tried to appease our complaint but not very well. The concierges didn't seem to know their stuff. Were given in accurate info on 2 occasions which diminished our enjoyment of our stay.

My Husband and I stayed at the Hilton for 3 nights for a DC getaway and I must say that this hotel is great! We stayed on the 29th floor, the room was spacious and view from the room was spectacular! Each Morning we were blessed to witness beautiful sunrises while looking out over Washington DC. The House Keeping staff does a wonderful job at keeping this hotel clean, the hotel is beautiful! Every Hotel staff member we encountered during our stay was professional, pleasant and very helpful. The shuttle ran on time and the food in the Restaurant was outstanding. The restaurant's staff made our dinning experience enjoyable and went out of their way to make sure we had everything you needed. We would recommend this hotel highly to our friends and we would definitely stay at this Hilton again.

Room Tip: Try and get a room on the higher floors, it is worth the view!

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, from Sept. 6 to Sept.9 2012 and it was quite a phenomenal experience. The view from the 25 th Floor was absolutely amazing! Room was always clean, and the personnel was extremely friendly and willing to help. I joined the HHonors program so I can enjoy some rewards. I will be staying in other Hilton's in the future! Loved it!

Room Tip: Next time I would book a room facing North so I can see the city.

I love coming to this hotel. They pick you up at the Reagan Airport, are friendly and the rooms have always been great. The restaurant Finn and Porter needs to reconsider what is on The menu. Most of the time the food is over priced and sub-standard. I usually stay during the winter months and enjoy the atmosphere....even getting snowned for a few days. When you are from California, snow is exciting for about two days, then it is time for it to go away. The elevators are rather slow when conferences are in session.

Room Tip: Ask for a view on the capitol side of the hotel. It costs a little more, but the view is great

We've stayed at Hilton Hotels on other occasions and at other locations, but never have we seen guests keeping pitbulls in their rooms. I can understand bringing a well heeled dog of friendly reputation to a pet friendly hotel, but we were just plain uncomfortable riding in an elevator with reputed vicious dogs. The hotel itself appears to be of average cleanliness, but the decor is absolutely abismal. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant and though the food was good, there was loud music coming from behind the hotel. I discovered that, much to my dismay, there was a disc jockey with a very loud boom box playing music for a dance club outside by the pool. There was to be no reading or relaxing by the pool on that sweltering day. There is no spa and the best option for parking your car is to self park. They do offer a shuttle to a shopping center every half hour, but its best to wait outside by the bus. I was told to sit and wait in the lobby, and they forgot to notify me when the driver was leaving. I was not pleased and their attitude wasn't one of caring.

Room Tip: Choose a corner room for a betterview of Washington

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay at our hotel. I'm very sorry that your visit was not a more pleasant one; please accept our apologies. We are a dog friendly hotel, and while we do have size limitations there are no limitations based on breed. We ask that our dog owners manage their pets appropriately while on property.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your concerns. We hope to be of service to you again.

Sincerely,
