Pros - Nice staff, great shuttle service, clean room, and cookies at the front desk. Con - Traffic can be pretty noisy since the rooms face
busy roads, there really isn't much close by to do or see but you can access anything and everything with Metro access, and the hotel is not
really that close to the Metro station (but I'm a walker and didn't mind the hike too much).

My husband and I stayed here for one night before heading to a downtown DC hotel. The hotel was great! Very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. Their shuttle service to Old Town and the Metro was convenient and punctual. We called it from a bar in Old Town and it was there within minutes. Knowing that there are not many hotels right in Old Town I think we made a good choice! I prefer to be right in the middle of all the action but if you don’t this is a good choice for you.

It's a terrific hotel with excellent, hard-working staff, just don't believe them when they say the Metro station is two blocks away. It may be two traffic signals away, but it's .55 miles up a steep incline on the overpass. They do provide a shuttle to it - take advantage of it. They also tend to recommend restaurants at quite a distance, but there's Ted's Montana Grill (very good and good prices) right near the Metro station for lunch and dinner, and a place called Bread and Chocolate at the same place for breakfast.

We recently stayed there for 2 nights for business/pleasure and I am glad I chose this hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Since I had a rental car it was a great location to travel to D.C., Old Alexandria and other areas. The price was very good and the room was quiet.
