“Will not be disappointed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2012

My family stayed here for a spring break to see DC. We loved this hotel. Alexandria is a beautiful city to walk around and several great restaurants. We stayed 3 nights and hope to return in the future. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, lobby attractive and spacious rooms. It is very conveniently located to a grocery store. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to
DC and can also enjoy the history and charm of Alexandria.

This Holiday Inn is one of the nicer HIs in which I have stayed. The front desk staff was very friendly and courteous, as was the dining room staff. The buffet breakfast is fine - not great but OK for the money. There is a Giant supermarket right across the street if you want to stock up on drinks and snacks. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The cost of parking is over-priced.

I routinely eat at the restaurant at the Holiday Inn Express because of the great food (love their burgers and ribeye steak!), the exceptional service by Bill at the bar (that guy REALLY knows warm, friendly customer service!), and the easy-access location. When our out-of-town guests come in, we have them stay next door at this hotel, which has always been a good experience for our guests. The pool is great, the rooms are comfy and well-kept, the hotel is clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and compentent, and the rates are affordable - overall a great place! The convenient location within minutes of Reagan Airport and a taxi stand right out front make it super easy to get to. Within walking distance of Old Town's Historic district makes it even better.

This is a very nice place to visit...I'll be back, usually every other month, and without having to worry about accomodations, this is very cool.

I recommend meeting Bill the "bartender" if you get the chance, he's a very handsome and reserved professional doing what he loves to do.

The rooms are a nice size and very clean, the staff is pleasent and respectful and the food is good and priced right!.

Having spent sometime in the hotel and the bar restaurant, I must say this is the most well run and pleasant places to meet, eat and to unwine after a long day. Bravo zulu to the entire staff and a "noteworthy" to Bill.
