“GW and TJ ate here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2015 NEW

If you love all things 18th century.....this is for you. Candlelight, wood floors, fireplaces, costumed staff, and the restored ice cellar. The food was good, but the ambiance was better.

We have been to Gadsby's Tavern many times, the food is good and the staff is awesome. Your out of town guests will thoroughly enjoy it. Be prepared to be entertained and get a great meal. Reservations are recommended.

“Cool Old Tavern and Fun Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2015

As a history nut, I enjoyed visiting this museum and going on the tour very much. Our tour guide was fun and informative, she liked making jokes, which made it even more fun. I liked that our guide talked about the history of the building and how that fit in with the history of the entire city etc. The rooms are in great condition and are lovely. The large ball room in the taller building was beautiful (it was decorated for an upcoming wedding). The tour is only $5 per person, which isn't that expensive.

“Very good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2014

The museum is like being there in the late 1700s. Very well kept. The guide was very knowledgable of the whole history of the place. The museum is near the main plaza and just in front of the city hall.
