We had a lovely stay in the Mornington Room for 1 night this weekend. The location is great - away from the hustle & bustle, but within a few miles of vineyards and restaurants. The Inn was very well-maintained and luxurious, but not uncomfortably refined. We felt comfortable sitting and reading in the common areas and enjoyed the great selection of local magazines & books, as well as music. Breakfast was wonderfully prepared by Orquida who graciously accomodated our dietary preferences. And, oh her cookies are just too good!
The Mornington Room is well-described on the B&B's website, but we would add that it overlooks both the mountains, pool, and gardens, as well as the parking lot (although we were not disturbed by this). The whirlpool was a great way to unwind after a long drive.
Our only negative is that the B&B is located on a relatively major roadway, and we would have preferred something on an out-of-the-way side road. It is, however, set back a good distance and the trees mitigate noise from the passing cars. We could not hear the traffic at all, but our room was in the back of the house. Regardless, we would certainly stay here again!
