We have been staying at the Arcady for ten plus years, since the current owner purchased it. We stopped the first time just by chance. Since then, this is the only place we stay in this area of Vermont. We come there one or two times a year, and have recommended it to any of our friends that visit the area. The hot tub, the breakfast, the rooms, the service are all great. The inn keeper is more than willing to accommodate whatever he can. It is relaxing and not pretentious.

I love this inn! It is clean, comfortable, well taken care of and the breakfast is amazing! The grounds are lovely and it is quiet. Bert is very professional and pleasant and I highly recommend the Aracady at the Sunderland!! I stay here any chance I get when travelling to the area.

We stay at the Arcady 2 or 3 times a year to visit relatives. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. . . especially with the wonderful free breakfast of eggs, delicious breads and breakfast rolls, coffee, tea, juice, etc., etc.!
The rooms are simple, but clean, with very comfortable beds. Plenty of TV channels and a minibar and clean bathrooms.
The owner (and breakfast cook) is friendly and accomodating. We arrived one night much later than we had indicated (well after 11 pm) and our key and other information were waiting for us pinned to the door with a welcoming note.
The Arcady is a delight, whether you're there for the leaves, the ski slopes or the Manchester Outlets!
We would recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable, friendly, bargain accomodations.

After booking my reservation for two nights I ran across these reviews and I was concerned about the few very negative ones. I have allergies so I was especially concerned about the claim of musty rooms.
The place was great. My room was clean and fresh. The bath room was clean and modern. Everything was in working order.
The included full breakfast was excellent and a nice treat compared to the continental breakfast many places offer.
I found the owner warm and easy to chat with.
I would definitely come back and think the price is a good value.
