I checked into this inn on Christmas Eve after another member in my party had already arrived and secured a room. First, I noticed this is a ground floor high traffic room near the stairs. As soon as I shut the entry door, I noticed grime from dirty hands on the back of the door accumulated over time. I didn't take too kindly to that, and as I walked into the dressing area I noticed burns from cigarette butts that had been allowed to scorch the counter top. As I stepped into the tub/toilet area, I noticed more burns into the edge of the acrylic bathtub from cigarette burns. This is supposed to be a non-smoking room. I opened my laptop and fumbled around long enough to determine the Internet wasn't going to surf. I called the desk and spoke to a well-informed young man who suspected the entire network in the hotel may be down. He instructed me to call him immediately if I had more trouble. I went on to eat dinner, and upon return found the internet still not working. When I called back to the desk shift change had taken place, and a young lady was working. She claimed no knowledge of how the network worked or it's operational status. When she attempted to give me the trouble reporting number for their ISP and asked me to call them, I blew a gasket. When I protested she proceeded to respond to me in a hostile and sarcastic manner, and failed miserably at making me feel guilty for insisting they fix their problems. I packed my bags immediately and proceeded to the nearest similarly classed room from another company.
