3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

Prepaid for room on kayak.com for 3 nights for roughly $45/night net. I didn't expect much but just needed a place to sleep. The motel was actually better than I thought it would be. The room had a fridge and microwave, flat screen tv, and was reasonably clean. Free wifi but connection was REALLY slow. Basic breakfast (including waffle maker) was free but was very crowded--too small of space for the number of rooms and guests. The owner/manager (Indian guy) never smiled and seemed always in a bad mood. But the other desk staff were cordial and efficient. Because the public areas are non smoking, many people were milling around at the front entrance smoking which I didn't like. In sum, good value for money and I would stay there again.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013 via mobile

I booked from a discount travel site and then worried I'd made a terrible mistake - a 2 star hotel that allows smoking. I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby is adorable and I never smelled smoke inside. The tub and toilet were sparkling clean. Our room had 2 double beds, a nice size fridge, coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer, iron & board, and a safe. For half the price I normally pay, it was easy enough to ignore the scuff marks on the walls, and I cleaned coffee off another wall myself. Cheap price, decent location, I felt safe, free breakfast, internet, and parking. Definitely a good choice for the price.
