The outdoor seating area is lovely, with a water fountain and tons of plants. It's shady and pleasant even on summer days, and the ambience can't be beat.
The food is delicious, with fresh ingredients (their menu states no lard, no velveeta, etc.) and interesting combos like a spicy tofu puffy taco. The chips aren't greasy or too salty. The one thing that keeps me coming back is the salsa - it's got a chipotle-type flavor, and it's simply addictive.
Our family gives Vivo a big thumbs up!
We love to sit outside on the deck, drink an incredible margarita or 2, and eat some awesome Texmex. I really like their vegetarian menu items. We always get the Queso and Nachos. The nachos are great with Guacamole, sprouts, beans and cheese. You just don't find food like this anywhere else but Austin!
