After a short hike from a near by neighborhood, my sweetheart & I reached the Bistro by twilight time and made ourselves comfortable outside on their patio. We started with the house Chardonnay which was light, with a little taste of fruit and butter and an order of Tuna Tartare Napoleon which was excellent! Feeling lucky we chose to raid the happy hour menu for an adventurous type of meal. We next chose a Greek Fireside Sagnaki which was Greek cheese pan-seared & flame kissed with a shot of Greek Ouzo (at your table side, so have your phone/camera ready -it's impressive) then served with a tomato-olive relish & grilled pita bread. This too was just excellent! (How can one mess up cheese?) And our final dish, and this truly made for a complete meal, we had Lettuce Wraps -peanut basted chicken (you can opt for tofu), crisp Boston lettuce, julienned carrots, purple cabbage, crispy wontons, peanuts & ginger soy dipping sauce. The staff was friendly but very busy. All in all this was a wonderful casual dinner shared with someone special!
