“bad service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

i went to the one on 183
called in order went to pick it up at the agreed on time and it wasnt ready had to wait 15 more minutes for it to be ready
i had hoped to pick it up and eat it during my lunch hour but it look so long to get it i will have to eat it for supper
was given the run around and told the time we agreed on was just a ball park number not the real time
was told there were big orders called in and they came first

dont order from here if you want to eat during your lunch hour

“CHUY-WOW-WOW!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013 via mobile

we've eaten at the one in Houston before and it was very good but the "original" in Austin was AWESOME! had the steak burritto and it was filled with tender cuts of real steak, seasoned perfectly and sauced with hatch chili sauce that was some of the BEST I've ever had. Husband had his "go to" steak fajita Chuy-changa and it was delicious. Be sure to ask for some Brant jalapeño sauce w your chips, you will become addicted! If I had to complain about something, I'd say the salsa left a little to be desired, more of a pico than salsa but other than that, BEST Mexican food in Austin along with cool and fun atmosphere!!!

“Laid back atmosphere for Awesome Mexican food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

Chuy's is one of my favorite places in Austin with one close to Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool an Austin Icon. Famous for their selection in
sauces and great laid back atmosphere. Appetizer plate or Chuychanga you can't go wrong with your order. Fresh food with
delicious taste as well as a fun atmosphere. Full bar and outside seating make this an Austin favorite.

“Delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

Jalapeno ranch a must.
Queso a must.
Chuy's Special: stacked chicken enchiladas with queso instead of ranchero sauce. The most delicious meal....add guac and sour cream on top...so goooood!

“Ginormous portions a specialty”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

Always crowded on weekends. Average food, with the exception of the Tortilla Soup, which is above average. Fun t-shirts for sale, popular at Happy Hour. The Mexican martini is a great value.
