Description: Siena is Austin’s premier destination for authentic Tuscan and Italian cuisine, featuring seasonal antipasti, handcrafted sauces, homemade pasta, and a wide selection of organically raised meat, fish, and fowl. With simple, top-quality ingredients, Siena's traditional menu satisfies modern lifestyle choices and uses locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Our food is complemented by an award-wining wine cellar and served in rustic, elegant surroundings of thick stone walls and tall wood-beamed ceilings. “Good choice for Italian food and Wine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014

I recently ate there with a friend and his gf. He started out at the bar with a lovely glass of Rosamara Chiaretto from an italian winery names Costaripa. Then we moved over to the outdoor patio (It was a nice evening, gentle breeze and still light out). There we shred a plate of fried chicken liver with a glass of champagne (don't knock it till you try it). This was a delightful combination, which was topped only by the fresh made pappardelle at ragu di cinghiale, which we enjoyed with a delicious bottle of Fuligni Rosso di Montalcino. They have a very nice wine selection, mostly Italian and the prices are moderate. The crowd is affluent yet the atmosphere is relaxing and comforting. The staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

“Fantasic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

We ate here a few weeks ago when we were in town for my boyfriends birthday and it was delicious! It is one of his favorite restaurants (he is actually from Austin) and we wanted to go on a nice birthday date night. A little pricey, but it was worth it. The service was great and we ended up sitting in the little balcony area which created the perfect ambiance.

“We are in Italy, right???”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014

We love going to Sienna. Great food in a fabulous Italian villa we'd all like to convert into our home. We've enjoyed private dinners here, and also enjoy the happy hour. We sat inside this time, but the patio did look inviting! We had the fried calamari, fish & shrimp, the crab stuffed portabella, roasted figs stuffed with goat cheese, wrapped in prosciutto with balsamic glaze, and the wild boar ragu. We'd just like to say, "Yum!".

“The real italian deal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

Siena is authentic italian food. First there are the multiple courses. Pasta is just a small course among others. Then there is the way of preparing it and the ingredients. And finally the setting is gorgeous.
I started with the mussels which were excellent. Then went on to the wild boar pasta which was so delicious. It reminded me of the french bourguignone way of preparing meat (slow cooked in red wine with carrots).
I then had the rabbit, which can be tricky, but I was served generous portions of the legs, which were quite meaty.
I'm partial to sauces, and this didn't disappoint.
For dessert, the tiramisu did the trick. I would have preferred it withoutt the chocolate syrup, but it was still extremely enjoyable.
The only negative I would give would the lack of kids menu, but then again I must be the only crazy one bringing my kids to this type of restaurant.

“Leisurely lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

We enjoyed lunch with a glass of wine recommended by our waiter. The wine was a good choice. The food was very well prepared and very tasty. As the restaurant filled up the noise level went up accordingly. Aside from that, it was an enjoyable lunch.
