“Duck Adventure Tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

This tour is a lot of fun for both adults and children on an amphibious boat that even goes out into the lake. You will also learn a lot about Austin history and see many areas in and around the downtown where you may want to go back to and visit. I took my 6 and 8 year old granddaughters and they had a lot of fun. There is bathroom at the location where you start the tour.

“Historic Austin on land and water”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

We boarded the Duck Tour on East 6th Street and had a skillfully narrated adventure through downtown Austin and the UT area before driving past Treaty Oak for a water tour of Lake Austin. All ages were on board and a good time was had by all.

“charming little tour, met my needs”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

The tour definately met my expectations for what it was. It is a charming little tour which doesnt show you a lot of austin, but it does its job.
I had a 5 & 8 year old so i couldnt take the other city tours available by segway or kayak.
If i do go back to austin i would probably pick another one. The kids loved it, and had fun.
Our guide was funny, at times too funny, and a tad offensive with some of the jokes. Also the meeting point is a bit ugly.....i didnt feel too comfortable.....sorry guys!

“Quack, quack”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

I took this tour because it wasn't overly expensive and wasn't too long. The bus takes you on a tour of downtown Austin and then bus drives into Lake Austin! That was pretty interesting. It takes a short trip on the lake and returns ti town. The driver gives a little history of Austin and tells some jokes, mostly for the children. If you don't like children, this tour is not for you. It didn't bother me but the kids can get rowdy and the quacking can be annoying. Overall, i enjoyed the tour but I wish it world have stopped for a short while to take pictures instead of a drive-by.

“Mechanical breeze to beat the heat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013 via mobile

This was my third Duck tour and first to use a non-wwII landing craft. Tour guide gave a good readers digest tour of the city. Cooled off on the water.

Price was reasonable. Cold water bottled on board were a welcomed refresher in the heat.

A recommended tour for those on a compressed travel schedule
