“Perfect location. Perfect combination bar/bakery!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

Customer service was amazing! Very cool people to deal with. The bread and pastries were delicious! Great happy hour! Great menu of beers and mixed drinks. It was a really cool atmosphere. Free Ping Pong. Lots of trees and wonderful patio. They also had good music playing all the time. It was a very short walk to our hotel. Great location

“Nice break from 6th st.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

This place reminded us of a typical beer garden in Germany. My husband loved it because they had so many different craft beers. I loved it because of the different wines. Inside it is a bit dark but they have lots of space to sit outside. It is very relaxing atmosphere and is it a nice break from all the excitement down the street.

“Beer cheese: enough said.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

We went here for a post wedding brunch and sat outside by the creek. Great atmosphere, fantastic food - everything from the pastries to the pretzels was divine! Order the easy German board with a large salad and share it with a friend.

“Great place for lunch on 6th Street”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

Ordered their $8.00 lunch. Roast beef on sourdough bread with cucumber salad. Both were excellent. The sandwich had moist tender roast beef piled high. Loved the cucumber salad too. My husband had the same sandwich, but with potato salad & we were both pleased and agreed the cucumber salad was better than the PS. Cute place to eat outside in the spring in Austin.
